Escape is an expressive arts Community Interest Company (CIC) based in Pembrokeshire, creating inspiring and accessible opportunities for children and young people in music, drama, dance, art and performance.
Our mission is to empower young people through the arts - building confidence, creativity, self-expression and wellbeing in a safe, inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and able to thrive.
We believe high-quality arts opportunities should be accessible to all, regardless of background, experience or circumstance. Through performances, workshops, creative wellbeing projects and structured learning pathways, Escape aims to remove barriers to participation and provide meaningful opportunities for young people across Pembrokeshire, particularly within our rural community where access to arts provision can be limited.
Alongside creative and performance opportunities, we offer support for Trinity, ABRSM and LAMDA qualifications, as well as GCSE, BTEC and A Level study, delivered by experienced professionals with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
As a not-for-profit community focused organisation, Escape is committed to helping young people develop not only artistic skills, but also confidence, communication, leadership and a strong sense of belonging through the arts.

What People Say

“ Escape has helped my twin girls, who were very shy, with their confidence hugely, going from not singing or dancing in front of me at home to now singing their hearts out everywhere we go and absolutely loving being on stage!
My other daughter, who is autistic, has had all her needs catered for. The staff have a wealth of experience with ALN children, and the whole Escape team are very approachable and encourage parent feedback and ideas. A really safe, caring, and enthusiastic team.
All three of my children love attending.”
Amber Mathias

“Our daughter has been attending Escape's Spotlight group and youth theatre for over a year now. The positive change in her confidence on and off stage has been fantastic. She has improved in all areas of musical theatre performance in an incredibly suportive, nurturing and inclusive environment.
I cannot recomend Escape enough.”
Marc Elsley

“My time at Escape taught me key skills that I would later need when I enrolled at Music University.
As a member of Escape's senior youth theatre group, I had the privilege of becoming a vocal ambassador. This provided the opportunity for me to help out with different classes, where the young creatives of Pembrokeshire were brought together, providing growth in the areas of both talent/skill, and being a part of a like-minded community.”
